Both rooms we booked were big size and elegant with garden, large bathroom, comfy bed. The breakfast was savoury with the view for a backdrop; the staff was excellent.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff; very warm welcome; very good breakfast; attention to detail - the fruit, fresh milk and biscuits in our room and beautifully set breakfast table on the terrace, for instance; a real sense of well-being.

Absolutely everything! What a gem of a find this guest house was. We were treated like royalty and we almost forgot we were in South Africa and not Scotland. The house itself was filled w/flowers and china, lovely artwork and tastefully decorated rooms, that were both comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The gardens were a delight and the Langeberg Mountains enticed one for a hike in nature or a walk into town,( for a gourmet dinner at one of many quaint restaurants). This is a special place that can be enjoyed at any season. And did I mention the breakfasts? Oh my... On a three week trip of S.A. this was my favorite stay by far!
That we had to leave.
